Hallie Bock, 15, of Durham, N.C., is the winner of an Internet quiz sponsored by Perles de Tahiti. Her name was randomly selected from those of 10 people who correctly answered 10 questions about Tahitian pearls. According to Perles de Tahiti, all answers can be found on their Web site, www.tahiti-blackpearls.com. Bock, who is the youngest Tahiti Pearl Quiz winner, was rewarded with a loose “beautiful 8.5-mm peacock-colored” Tahitian pearl, said her mother. Quiz No. 11 will be accessible online until October 25, 2001.
