Tzoffey’s Auction Items for ICA Congress on Display at BaselWorld

A million-dollar chess set, with chess pieces and the chessboard crafted from more than 1 kilogram of gold and set with 9,900 black and white diamonds, is among the items on display at BaselWorld.

The chess set, a heart shaped intense yellow diamond of 22.26 cts. (valued at nearly $500,000), a pair of old mine, pear-shaped emeralds weighing 56.46 cts. (valued at approximately $200,000) are among the luxurious items that will be auctioned at the International Colored Gemstone Association Congress in Dubai, May 6-9.

The previewing of these items, and other items being auctioned off in Dubai, are now on display at the Tzoffey’s 1818 booth at BaselWorld in Hall 3.1, booth J60, where Tzoffey’s 1818 and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, a strategic initiative of the Dubai government created to establish a commodity marketplace in Dubai, will cooperate to promote this exclusive international auction.

Tzoffey’s 1818, a European based auction-house that specializes in unique diamonds, rare gemstones and one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry, will hold the auction on May 9, the final day of the ICA Congress.
