Two products earned Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America’s Thinking Ahead Awards for 2010, the MJSA announced Dec. 14.
CounterSketch Studio, a collaboration between Gemvision and Stuller, and the Neo Five Axis Mill, created by Artisan CNC, won the awards.
CounterSketch Studio features a design software program with a selection of 2,000 preloaded electronic jewelry models that retailers and their clients can customize with 3-D alterations.
The Neo Five Axis Mill is a machine that makes wax models for jewelry casting that includes a fifth axis that enable top-down, rotary milling to take place in addition to front-to-back and left-to-right.
