Three men have been arrested in conjunction with the May 5 murder of Virginia jewelry store employee Muhammad H. Baig.
Baig, 29, worked for Victoria Jewelers in Richmond. Police believe he was shot during an attempted robbery.
Jesse G. Edmond, 49; Anthony J. Lenard, 26; and Jermeaka M. Gorhom, 28, have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, according to the Richmond Police Dept.
Detectives ask anyone with information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
In another tragic twist to the story, Baig’s wife gave birth to a baby girl less than 24 hours after his shooting, reports say.
