If you elect to provide your own transparency or digital file, deduct $500 from the rates listed above.
*2x rate is available to those advertisers who participate in both the Spring and Fall 2001 editions.
Issue & Closing Dates
1. Submit your insertion order indicating the size of your ad and the appropriate category for your merchandise.
2. Provide copy to be incorporated into your ad: company name, 15 word product description, include phone, fax, e-mail and web site. (note: due to the distinctive design of Trendz, we will not include company logos on ad pages).
3. Select 3 to 4 pieces of jewelry to be photographed for your advertisement. We can accept up to 5 pieces for a full-page advertisement (size of jewelry will dictate number of pieces we will be able to use in ad). Two or three products are suggested for half-page advertisements.
4. Send insured merchandise (include a return envelope and insurance form) along with a copy of your insertion order to:

JCK will return products after the photo shoot. Please be prepared to leave product for at least two weeks so we can guarantee the best possible layout, photography and color reproduction.
Upon completion of the issue, JCK will send you a disk containing your advertisement for your use in trade advertising, trade supplements, postcards, direct mail, web sites and displays. The advertisement may not be used for billboards, national consumer magazines and their web sites, books or other special projects. These uses can be negotiated separately with the photographer.
Although we prefer to have all jewelry shot by our photographer, we can accept transparencies or digital files. However, due to the distinctive layout, art will need to be supplied as follows:
• All products must be shot on a white background.
• JCK reserves the right to silhouette, alter or edit your art to fit Trendz ad specifications.
Files must be saved in the following manner:
TIFF format for PC platform (we can accept Mac)
300 pixels per inch
We accept files stored on CD or 100 MB zip disk.
Prefer 4″x 5″, however 7″x 10″ transparencies are acceptable.
All supplied art should be sent directly to the photographer.
