De Beers CEO Philippe Mellier and Diamond Trading Company CEO Varda Shine will speak at the Diamond Manufacturers and Importers Association of America (DMIA) meeting on Jan. 8, 2013.
This is the duo’s first-ever joint public appearance on U.S. soil.
“It is more than fitting that these two pivotal diamond industry leaders will be giving what the DMIA leadership refers to as a ‘U.S. Inaugural Address’ to the New York and American diamond industry,” said DMIA president Ronald Friedman in a statement.
