I knew it was a rough night for red carpet jewelry when Jennifer Heebner changed our hashtag to #grammyjewelrymakesmesad.
Our followers also continued to be frustrated with Ryan Seacrest’s inconsistency in asking about the stars jewelry. Cindy Edelstein made a good point that jewelers pay placement fees, too so not asking for designer names is doing the jewelry industry a disservice.
But like always, there were at least a handful of looks that people appreciated, including Carrie Underwood’s $31 million necklace from Johnathon Arndt.
Check out what the rest of our jewelry tweeps had to say about the 2013 Grammy Awards red carpet.
Lots of basic black frocks with some statement earrings tonight. Am I at the Oscars or the Grammys? #grammyjewelry

Adele maybe wearing earrings with invisibly set rubies? Makes it only slightly better but the dress still looks like curtains #grammyjewelry
