VNU Expositions said Thursday that Collectors Universe companies Gem Certification & Assurance Lab and American Gemological Laboratories will host an exclusive executive session with Tom Peters and approximately 15 CEOs following his opening keynote address at the VNU Fine Jewelry CEO Summit, being held Wednesday in Atlanta. 

GCAL and AGL are the “Official Diamond and Colored Gemstone Laboratories” respectively for thecConference and the sponsor for Peters’ opening keynote. 

Among those participating in the executive session, will be CEOs and top executives from Borsheims, Christian Bernard, Fred Meyer Jewelers, Hamilton Jewelers, Helzberg Diamonds, Hyde Park Jewelers, Kings Jewelers, Reeds Jewelers, Sears, Roebuck & Co., and the Zale Corp.

Inter-generational issues between top and mid-management and the challenges of the Internet will be among the topics discussed, said Whitney Sielaff, editorial director of National Jeweler, who heads up the conference content planning.
