Todd Wolleman Elected Chairman of Jewelers Board of Trade

Wolleman recently chaired the search committee to find a new president and CEO

The Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT) has elected new officers and directors after its annual company and board meetings.

Todd Wolleman of Leo Wolleman in New York City has been named chairman.

Wolleman recently chaired the search process to select a new president and CEO for the organization. Dione Kenyon, president since 2002, announced her retirement in August. She will continue to serve as president until a replacement has been named. A statement from the JBT said that the new appointment will be announced in the “near future.”

Michael Kaplan of Rocket Jewelry Box was elected first vice chairman, and Ann Arnold of Arnold Advisory Group was elected second vice chairman.

Newly elected board members include: Ira Bergman of the Gordon Company; David Bonney of Lux Bond & Green; and Nilesh Sheth of Forever Collections.

Reelected board members include: Ann Arnold of Arnold Advisory Group; Anthony Capuano of HSBC; Edward DeCristofaro of LDC, Inc.; Roderick Lichtenfels of W. R. Cobb Company; and Richard Weisenfeld, former chariman of the JBT board.

Additionally, Phyllis Bergman of Mercury Ring was newly elected to the advisory board, and Richard Greenwood of A.F. Greenwood Co., and F. Daniel Pharr of Pharr Valuation & Business Services were reelected to the advisory board.
