Tiffany to open store in Hamburg

Tiffany & Co. plans to open a store in Hamburg, Germany’s second largest city. The 2,400 square-foot store will be located at Neuer Wall 19, in an exclusive area of the city’s waterfront Binnenalster. It is expected to be completed in the summer of 2007.

The jeweler will offer an array of TIFFANY & CO. collections, including its engagement diamonds; jewels in platinum and 18k gold settings; rare and lustrous pearls; fashion jewelry; watches; and the signature designs of Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger, and Frank Gehry.

“We are quite pleased to be opening a store in the elegant port city of Hamburg,” said Cesare Settepassi, vice president, Tiffany & Co. Europe. “Our unique designs, exquisite quality, and highly rated customer service will be quite at home in this stylish, cosmopolitan city.”

Hamburg marks the third Tiffany & Co store in Germany. The luxury retailer also has stores in Frankfurt and Munich.
