Tiffany & Co. Window Displays Reflect Glitz and Glamour of Gatsby Era

Editorial assistant Stephanie Schaefer is guest blogging. Web editor Daniel Ford is preparing his tuxedo and having a glass of champagne.

With its lavish window displays, Tiffany & Co. has transformed its Fifth Avenue flagship into a scene from the Roaring ’20s.

The artistic displays were created in collaboration with Great Gatsby director, producer, and cowriter Baz Luhrmann and Academy Award–winning costume and production designer Catherine Martin.

Web editor Daniel Ford and I took a walk to the iconic jeweler, just a few blocks from the JCK headquarters, to see the glitz and glamour for ourselves. We were not alone in our trip back to opulent old New York, having to sneak a peek of the flapper facade amid crowds of tourists and Fifth Avenue shoppers.

If you can’t make it to the city, check out the images of the Jazz Age–inspired storefront below.
