Century City (Calif.) Chamber of Commerce will host the 2007 Citizen of the Year Annual Awards Luncheon honoring Tiffany & Co.
The event is being held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on May 17. Attracting nearly 400 civic leaders and business professionals from the greater Los Angeles area, Century City Chamber of Commerce holds this event to bestow its highest civic recognition award, Citizen of the Year, upon both an individual and a company who exemplify excellence in corporate and community relations.
Tiffany & Co. has been a member of the Century City community since 1999. For more than 150 years, Tiffany standards have been the very measure of excellence in the realm of fine jewelry worldwide. Tiffany & Co. operates jewelry and specialty retail stores and manufactures products through its subsidiary corporations located throughout the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe.
Also being honored as Citizen of the Year is Alan Rothenberg, founder and chairman of 1st Century Bank.
Keynote speaker for the event is Mickey Kantor former U.S. Secretary of Commerce and former Trade Representative in the Clinton administration. He is currently a partner with Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw law firm.
