Tiffany Appoints New Deputy CEO: Report

Share

Tiffany & Co. has appointed David Ponzo, the former chief commercial officer of Louis Vuitton, as its new deputy CEO, according to a report in WWD.

Tiffany did not respond to JCK’s request for comment.

WWD said Ponzo will take over responsibilities that had been held by Gavin Haig, who retired as chief commercial officer last year. He will lead the brand’s retail operations, jewelry and high jewelry product divisions, and newly created strategic business development function, the publication said.

Ponzo had been serving as Louis Vuitton’s chief commercial officer, with responsibility for watches and jewelry, for five years.

Both Louis Vuitton and Tiffany are owned by LVMH.

In related news, LVMH’s 2025 financial results, released on Tuesday, showed that the watches and jewelry division delivered 3% growth on an organic (constant currency) basis, though its revenue dropped 1%. That beat LVMH’s overall results for the year, which showed organic growth falling 1% while revenue dropped 5%.
