Three jewelry designers to present their creations at Billboard awards show

The latest creations of three jewelry designers will be among the gifts that performers, presenters, and award winners will have the opportunity to receive at the 2002 Billboard Music Awards, being held Monday, Dec. 9, at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas. The show is being televised live on the FOX network at 8 p.m.

Los Angeles-based designer Erica Courtney’s line of sexy, sophisticated and glamorous jewelry, the traditional South American Indian inspired bead work of Isabella Gianna, (who also designs hand bags and clothing) and 18k gold modular charm bracelets from the Italian design house of Zoppini will be included among the many products and services celebrities will receive at the awards show’s “Celebrity Retreat,” where presenters and performers wait to make their appearance during rehearsals or the show. These celebrities will be thanked for their time and talent by being given the opportunity to select specific gifts from the product lines being offered by participating donor companies. Backstage Creations, Santa Monica, Calif., specialists in award show gifts and custom backstage talent retreats, created and manage the retreat.

Among those who will appear on the show are Avril Lavigne, CREED, Nelly, Faith Hill, Justin Timberlake, Nelly, Puddle of Mudd, B2K, J.C. Chasez, Joe, Master P, Lil’ Romeo, LL Cool J, Nick Carter, Keith Urban, Nivea, Shannon Elizabeth, and Cher.
