Fashion designer, Susan Cianciolo, collaborated with jewelry designer, Keiko Mita, during New York’s Fashion Week. Pieces from Mita’s Moiré, Sand Dune, Sunburst, and Washi collections were evident on runway models. 

 

Coutts London Jewellery Week announces 2009 dates. It takes place right after JCK Las Vegas 2009. 

 

GIA announces the winners of the annual George A. Schuetz Jewelry Design Contest. Erik Stewart, Tucson, Ariz., took first place; Joana Miranda, Milwaukee, Wis., took second; and Stacey Liem, Carlsbad, Calif., took third.  

 

Natural Color Diamond Association member, Mondial Neuman Jewelers, was presented with two design awards at The Jewelers Association of Australia (JAA) Jewelry Design Awards 2008. The “Truth-Love-Desire” and “Totem” necklaces, respectively, secured finalist status in the Diamonds Above $5,000 Retail and the Diamond Jewelry Under $5,000 Retail categories.
