The Stars Shine Bright With Blackbird and the Snow

Major fangirl moment: Blackbird and the Snow is awesome. The 2014 JCK Rising Star outfitted the ears of the gorgeous Carey Mulligan on the May 2015 issue of Vogue (Vogue!), and the designer behind the name, Marie-Juliette Bird, is not only a talented creator, she’s a recording artist. So, literally, a rock star. In my defense, you can’t blame me one bit for acting the superfan. And if that weren’t enough, Blackbird and the Snow just so happens to make tons of gorgeous jewelry with one of my favorite motifs: the star. And not just any star, but the bursting kind, the one with pointed lines and glittering diamonds and darkened metals. They’re dramatic and beautiful, timeless and mysterious. So for all these celestial sensations, I’m grateful to Blackbird and the Snow—for making sure that the stars keep shining by using moonstone and opal and diamonds and everything that glitters just right. Shine on.
