The Knot Debuts New Service to Help Couples Choose a Ring

The Hint will help couples share their preferred ring styles with each other

The Knot has debuted a new feature called The Hint to help couples find the perfect engagement ring—and share their preferences with their betrothed-to-be.

Users of the feature will favorite six engagement ring images and the service will translate those favorites into a description of their ideal ring. The personalized recommendation includes style, shape, and metal; it will also recommend designers and connect buyers with local jewelers. Then the user can easily send her preferred ring styles to a partner.

“Eighty percent of grooms said they got a little input from their fiancées or one of her friends or family members before purchasing the ring,” said Kellie Gould, editor-in-chief of The Knot, in a statement. “Hint takes the anxiety out of finding the right ring and makes it even easier to drop the perfect hint to your partner.”

The new service is available at TheKnot.com/Hint.
