The Kings Jewelers of Walnut Creek, Calif., recently announced plans for a grand opening celebration at its new store location at 1501A North California Blvd. Festivities take place Oct. 6-10 and kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony presided over by Walnut Creek Mayor Gary Skrel at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
During the week, The Kings Jewelers will have raffles, door prizes, and other giveaways.
The Kings Jewelers was founded in Oakland, Calif., in 1915 by the great-grandfather of president Dave McConnell, according to a company release.
The store has been in Walnut Creek for 34 years.
