The Jewelry Industry Remembers 9/11 Through Social Media

Senior editor Rob Bates remarked this morning that he thought more people were talking about the anniversary of 9/11 this morning than there were a year ago for the decade milestone.

I didn’t notice a significant difference on my commute into the New York City office. However, I did once I checked all of my social media networks. I had much the same feeling I had when the world found out Osama Bin Laden had been killed; more people engaging in social media meant that more people would reach out to connect to each other, and at a faster rate, during moments of national unity.
