Let the 2012 Olympic Games begin! New York City–based Efva Attling unveils the Diana Collection of sterling pieces inspired by the strength of women and the Greek goddess Diana. The goddess’ silhouette is evident inside what could be an Olympic ring. At first glance, I thought she was holding a dumbbell! But no, she’s just balancing herself carefully so as not to slip from her position of prominence as the focal point of Attling’s latest work. Both the earrings and necklace retail for $190, considerably less than the cost of tickets to the Games.
