Hair jewels, statement necklaces—including one JCK shot last year—nontraditional numbers, and oversize earrings were the top jewelry trends seen during the red carpet arrivals to the 2014 Met Costume Institute Gala on May 5 in New York City. The affair celebrated the opening of the “Charles James: Beyond Fashion” exhibit, which will run May 8–August 10 at the museum.
