At least six jewelry stores across New York City have been hit by a gun-toting bandit and his accomplices. The robberies have taken place mainly in Manhattan’s Chinatown as well as mainly Chinese neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens.
According to the New York Daily News, the armed robber blazes into jewelry shops flanked by two other men before jumping over counters and looting the merchandise.
Footage from surveillance cameras caught the crooks, who are responsible for a string of robberies from September through November, but they remain at large in Gotham.
