Michigan-based Tapper’s Diamonds & Fine Jewelry appointed Mark Tapper and Marla Tapper Young to company president and vice president, respectively. Both are children of co-founder and president Howard Tapper.    

Marla joins Steven Tapper, Howard’s brother and co-founder of the chain, in the business. She will oversee all aspects of sales, as well as associate and management training, and will work closely with the company’s merchandising and marketing departments. Howard will transition from his role as president to become Tapper’s CEO

Mark will assume responsibility for the company’s day-to-day operations and business development.

“I look forward to working together as a family, and seeing how the next generation will use their unique talents and expertise to develop and grow the Tapper’s brand,” Howard said in a statement.
