If citrine is the seasonally appropriate option for November, topaz is the burst of color needed to make it through the winter. It comes in a wide range of hues (imperial topaz is particularly gorgeous), but most people hear topaz and automatically conjure sights of blue. And that’s okay—it’s a sensational shade, one that was considered my favorite since I knew what a gemstone was (though now my world has been opened up to unreal stones, and choosing a favorite is near impossible). So that’s what we’ll stick with today—and lucky, because I just found some really, really good blue topaz creations. This is certainly for November babies, but it’s a stone that nearly everyone will want to adorn themselves with.
