A Tiffany promotion ties into the Blue Box maison’s creative strategy; a West Coast trade group elects a new board; and two Stuller veterans will receive lifetime achievement awards.

Tiffany’s Chief Artistic Officer Now Also a Senior VP

Tiffany & Co. has promoted Nathalie Verdeille to senior vice president and chief artistic officer, broadening her role to include oversight of all product categories, WWD reported.

The move places Verdeille at the center of the brand’s creative strategy as it seeks to further unify design across categories.

Verdeille joined Tiffany as chief artistic officer in 2021, following the brand’s acquisition by LVMH, and has played a key role in reshaping its jewelry collections. She previously served as creative director for jewelry at Cartier.

In her expanded position, which includes responsibility for jewelry, watches, home goods, and accessories, Verdeille will continue to report to Tiffany president and CEO Anthony Ledru and remain part of the company’s executive committee.

“In this role, my aspiration is to structure a unique creative direction, serving our core business—jewelry—and to strengthen its clarity and desirability across all our creations,” Verdeille told WWD.

DCWC Elects Board Members and Officers

Diamond Club West Coast (DCWC) announced the results of its 2026 leadership elections, naming Kalpesh Jhaveri president. Lisa Kim Wiener and Vipul Udani were elected co–vice presidents, while Sean Gamliel will serve as treasurer and Tanya Parikh as secretary.

DCWC also confirmed its newly seated board of directors. The 10 board members are Hala Alam, Antranig “Tony” Ayvazian, M. Sam Barkati, Mervyn Hahn, Jayesh Kumar Joshi, Sina Partownavid, Ruth Raviv, Devang Shah, Sanat Shah, and Yaniv Wolf.

Founded in 1946 and based in downtown Los Angeles’ jewelry district, Diamond Club West Coast serves diamond and gemstone dealers, jewelry manufacturers, and other members of the trade, with a primary focus on wholesale activity.

The organization provides members with a range of services intended to support business operations and ethical trade, including mediation and arbitration, synthetic diamond screening, coordinated shipments to gemological laboratories, and educational and networking events.

TJS Names Lifetime Achievement Award Winners

The Jewelry Symposium (TJS) will present Dennis “Buzz” Busby and Randy Welch with lifetime achievement awards at the 2026 symposium, scheduled for May 16–19 in Detroit. TJS said it chose the honorees in recognition of their long careers supporting education and technical advancement in jewelry manufacturing.

Busby and Welch each spent more than four decades at Louisiana-based manufacturer Stuller before retiring in 2024— Busby was casting director, and Welch senior technical process engineer. They both joined Stuller in the 1980s and worked extensively in precious metal casting and manufacturing processes.

TJS said that Welch and Busby had regularly contributed to industry education, sharing research, technical findings, and process improvements through presentations and informal engagement. Their commitment to knowledge-sharing aligns closely with the Jewelry Symposium’s mission to advance jewelry manufacturing technology globally.
