The Slake Bracelet and Activity Tracking Crystal, part of the Swarovski Shine collection

Swarovski will unveil its first wearables collection, called Swarovski Shine, today at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The line includes nine pieces, including bracelets, watchbands, and pendants. Each piece incorporates an Activity Tracking Crystal, a proprietary crystal designed in collaboration with Misfit Wearables. The crystal counts steps, tracks sleep patterns, and measures distance traveled and calories burned.

“What’s available is too focused on function and not sexy,” Joan ?Ng, Swarovski’s senior vice president of product marketing for the? Asia-Pacific region, told Women’s Wear Daily. “Our consumer also wants some glitter.”

The tracking crystal will be sold in a set with a wrap bracelet and a sport band for $169 or with a crystallized silicon band and a sport band for $199. Other styles, sold separately from the crystal, include pendants for $125 and $149 and a crystal-adorned wrap bracelet for $69.

Preorders are available now at Misfit.com and will soon be available at Swarovski.com and Swarovski retail stores in the United States, Hong Kong, and China. The collection is expected to ship at the end of March, WWD reports.
