Most jewelers know that when it comes to bracelets and rings, one size certainly does not fit all. This is especially true for the smaller set—a lament of petite women unable to find well-fitting jewelry.
Svelte Metals has introduced a line of rings and bracelets designed with them in mind. Boasting edgy, architectural pieces, it also offers a unique sizing system specifically for smaller hands and wrists.
The company was founded by Meghan Kanodia, a graduate of Parsons the New School for Design in New York City, who honed her design aesthetic during her internships with Stella McCartney, Elle.com, and Refinery29.
The collection’s pieces are inspired largely by nature, like the Bishop Ring, a carved, wrap-around 24-carat gold-plated or sterling silver horse head retailing for $125.
Items range from avant-garde, like the Brookhaven Ring ($125), which features three skulls in sterling silver, gold plate, or rose gold plate, to the chic yet bold Cobb Cuff ($175), embossed with real python skin in rose gold plate, gold plate, or rhodium plate.
