Yurman Adds Color to This Holiday Season

David Yurman plans to capture the essence of the holidays with the company’s first-ever advertising campaign shot in color.

Shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, the campaign will feature models Kate Moss and Anna Ewers adorned in layers of David Yurman jewels in 18k gold and pavé gemstone designs.

The designer brand hopes the addition of color will show the change in the company’s perspective on wearing jewelry, which has focused on sensuality since its first black-and-white ad in 2001.

“Our objective for this campaign is to extend the language of jewelry and the expression of artistry,” said Sybil Yurman, the company’s cofounder. “We wanted the imagery and the introduction of color to evoke joy, lightness, and life. It had to have a spirit of playfulness yet sophistication, and signal empowerment and confidence.”
