ASHI Diamonds Appoints New Sales Representative

ASHI Diamonds, a premier diamond jewelry manufacturer, has announced the appointment of James Hoefker as the new sales representative and marketing consultant for the Southeast region of Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The new addition is part of ASHI’s marketing and expansion strategy, which will enable better service to independent jewelers in the United States.

Hoefker comes to ASHI with more than 30 years of experience in the jewelry industry, including extensive sales and marketing knowledge. He will work with independent jewelers to develop merchandising and marketing strategies to grow their business and build their brands.

Silver Promotion Service to Expand and Rebrand Website

The Silver Promotion Service has announced plans to rebrand elements of its website, while also expanding the site’s content, increasing strategic B2B communication, and growing direct involvement with retailers. The decision comes from recommendations from the Business Case for Silver, a course offered by the Savannah College of Art and Design last fall.

“The SCAD recommendations have provided valuable building blocks for the next phase of the development of the SPS and its role in our industry,” said SPS director Michael Barlerin in a press release. “When the organization was introduced in December 2008, its launchpad was our website. It is very appropriate that the forthcoming enhancements to the site are among the first refinements of the overall SPS initiative. Our plan is to launch the rebranded site, including newly identified Designers of Distinction and SilverMark Partners, before the Vegas shows.”
