David Tishbi’s Flash Gallery to Open

On June 26, jewelry designer David Tishbi will host a grand-opening party for his new jewelry gallery, Flash, in Pacific Palisades, Calif. 

As guests gaze at collections of hand-selected jewelry, they will also be encouraged to enter a contest to win an exclusive David Tishbi ring. This introductory celebration will also serve as a philanthropic event to benefit the City of Hope Children’s Hospital.

“Flash Gallery is the realization of a dream—to curate and showcase the best and finest designer jewelry, in this beautiful locale, which I am proud to call my home,” said Tishbi in a press release.

In addition to Tishbi’s own work, selected jewelry collections will be rotated for viewing every eight weeks from designers including Rebecca Overmann, Samira 13, Alberian & Aulde, Anna Ruth Henriques, Ayala Bar, and Rebecca Lankford.

Antwerp World Diamond Centre Ends U.S. Networking Tour at JCK Las Vegas

Representatives from the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) traveled across the country to meet with U.S. jewelers and retailers to spur business opportunities during its Antwerp Diamond Nights networking tour.

While some AWDC companies met with potential clients and partners at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami, others made connections with retailers and jewelers at the London West Hollywood hotel in Los Angeles. The journey concluded at JCK Las Vegas, where more than 20 AWDC companies were present.

“In the world of diamonds, connectivity is everything,” said Abhay Nanavati, managing director of Harmony Gems & Healing, in a press release. “Thanks to the AWDC networking events in the USA, I managed to expand my network and concluded two deals with new clients, just a few days after meeting them in Miami and L.A. I look forward to the next AWDC networking opportunity.”

The Diamond Empowerment Fund Hosts Gala and Auction

On May 29, the Diamond Empowerment Fund (DEF) held its Diamonds in the Sky gala and live auction at the Four Seasons Hotel ballroom in Las Vegas.

The event raised money for its Diamonds Do Good mission, which funds higher-education scholarships for youth in diamond-producing countries. Travel packages and diamond jewelry were among the items auctioned off, with Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK) taking home two of the nine prizes offered.

“We appreciate the efforts of and its mission and are honored to be a benefactor sponsor of the event,” said Shreyans Dholakia, executive director of SRK Exports, in a press release. “Social responsibility as well as active involvement in community development has always been the chief among our founding principles.”
