Virtual Diamond Boutique Introduces B2B Digital Platform

Diamond sourcing network Virtual Diamond Boutique (V.db) has announced new upgrades to its V.db app that promise to make it even easier for retailers to source diamonds right from their smartphones and tablets. The recent improvements offer customized views and saved searches plus the ability to showcase diamonds from select wholesale partners. Retailers can now also source matching diamonds, without having to manually search through hundreds of certificates and qualifications to locate a matching pair.

Availble for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, and with a desktop version coming soon, the V.db app is “changing the way the industry sources diamonds,” according to Virtual Diamond Boutique’s CEO and founding partner, Tanya Nisguretsky. “The new customization tools are exciting because they give the retailer and the wholesaler the ability to offer select merchandise based on preferred retailer-vendor relationships and/or minimum standards of quality,” Nisguretsky said in a press release. “The software can also match diamonds based on select criteria, which is a huge savings of both time and labor. The potential impact that this new platform can have on the industry is incredible.”

The V.db app puts an inventory of thousands of diamonds right at retailers’ fingertips, allowing them to source diamonds from their preferred retailers or from an entire network of vendors. Retailers can group merchandise by customer or by the Four C’s and peruse through high-quality photos and videography before requesting samples. The app offers sourcing on GIA, AGS, IGI, HRD, and EGL USA certified diamonds, as well as noncertified diamonds. For a minimal fee, retailers can also opt to add their own inventory to the application, making their diamonds easily accessible to other retailers within their own chain or in the marketplace.
