Wearable Technology Expert to Give Keynote at MJSA Expo New York

Consumer trends expert Ben Smithee will deliver the keynote presentation on wearable technology and other disruptive trends at MJSA Expo New York, March 8–10.

Smithee’s session, “The Cyborg Consumer: From Wearable Tech to 3-D Printing,” will focus on the role of jewelry in technology-driven production and consumption, from 3-D printing to health monitoring.

Lititz Precision Products Releases New Cleaning Machine

Lititz Precision Products has released a new ultrasonic parts cleaning machine, the Matador 4000.

The machine includes four containers for washing and rinsing solutions, a movable ultrasonic head and a centrifugal spinning heated dryer with variable temperature control and speed. The Matador 4000 also features dual timers for simultaneous cleaning and drying.

The machine retails for $3,795.
