The Jewelers Board of Trade has released an iPhone and iPad version of the Sectional Red Book mobile app to its suite of Red Book products. Following its release for Android earlier this year, the app’s search engine calls up company names, addresses, and credit ratings for specified geographic territories searchable by name, ZIP code, proximity, and business type.
“Our members need easy, instant access, especially when traveling, to identify and reach potential customers,” said JBT president Dione Kenyon. “Current users of the Android version of this app tell us they are very pleased with its capabilities. We are pleased to now meet the needs of more of our members by adding the iPhone/iPad version, part of JBT’s continued efforts to better deliver its products and services to the jewelry industry.”
With the app, which can be customized by territory, users can view a company’s location, reach them with an instant “dial now” feature, and add customized notes to each company. Sectional Red Books also remain available in printed form.
