Sylvie Collection Launching Breast Cancer Awareness Program

Bridal brand Sylvie Collection has announced that it will launch the Pink Pledge Program, a retail and social media initiative to support breast cancer awareness for the month of October.

Starting on Oct. 1 and running the entire month, the brand will donate 10 percent of all retail sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Retailers participating in the program will earn “pink points” with each sale, culminating in an award of up to $5,000 for the retailer with the most points to present to its local breast cancer research foundation.

Customers of Sylvie Collection will also be able to participate in raising awareness and funds for the cause: For every like or follow Sylvie Collection gets on Facebook or Instagram, the brand will donate $1 to the charity organization.

“Breast cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in women, and raising awareness is vital in the fight against the disease,” said CEO and designer Sylvie Levine, in a press release. “This is an extraordinary year for the Sylvie Collection and I feel very fortunate to be able to organize a comprehensive effort that will ultimately lend support to research towards increased treatment.”
