Luxury Brand Group goes bicoastal, news from White Pine Trading

Luxury Brand Group Opens New York City Location

California-based communications, marketing, and PR agency Luxury Brand Group (LBG) has gone bicoastal, opening its first New York City location. The office, which opened formally in July 2016, is located near Bryant Park, and is considered a major milestone in the agency’s 12-year history.

“A bicoastal expansion was the next logical step for the LBG team as we enter our 13th year,” said president and CEO Frank Proctor in a statement. “To enhance our clients’ competitive edge in today’s global marketplace, we needed a unique presence in the editorial media hub of New York City. We are now fully equipped to stimulate brand awareness and consumer loyalty for all of our partners.”

The East Coast office will enhance media relations with New York City–based editors and stylists for all of LBG’s clientele, while also enhancing the ease and efficiency of special event planning, product previews, editorial, and product placement opportunities.

WP Diamonds Partners With Jewelers for Children

WP Diamonds (WPD), the consumer division of White Pine Trading, announced that is has joined with the nonprofit Jewelers for Children (JFC) in a philanthropic partnership. Now, when retailers purchase diamonds, jewelry, and luxury watches from consumers through WPD, a donation will be made to JFC.

The year-round collaboration is offered at no cost to retailers, enabling them to increase sales and gain new customers while providing a philanthropic dimension to each purchase. The partnership also gives WPD access to the JFC’s network of more than 1,500 jewelry retail stores across the country. “WP Diamonds is a trusted name in the jewelry industry and offers a turnkey solution for retail jewelers to offer buy-back options to their customers,” said JFC executive director David Rocha in a press release. “As retailers look to increase their philanthropic activities, having a built-in contribution to Jewelers for Children helps to make the partnership even more enticing for participants.”
