GIA Verifies Sarine’s DiaMension Axiom Platform and Adopts Instructor as Standard Software

Following the evaluation and verification of Sarine’s new DiaMension Axiom platform and Instructor software, the Gemological Institute of America has completed the conversion of the software, and will now run Instructor on their DiaMension HD platforms.

Forevermark Opens $10 Million Diamond and Grading Inscription Facility in India

The De Beers Group has announced the opening of the International Institute of Diamond Grading and Inscription facility in Surat, India. It is the newest and most technologically advanced Forevermark diamond inscription and grading operation to date.

De Beers invested $10 million in the facility, which is equipped with advanced proprietary diamond technology. The primary purpose of the facility will be to select and inscribe Forevermark diamonds with unique serial numbers and to provide an accurate and reliable grading service for Forevermark diamonds. At full capacity, the facility will be able to process $500 million of diamonds annually.

“This facility will offer an improved service for Indian diamantaires and for Forevermark retailers here in India and abroad,” said Forevermark CEO Stephen Lussier. “We can now envisage a future where polished diamonds from around the world come to Surat to benefit from this world-leading facility.”

Shah Luxury Group Announces Marketing and Branding Initiatives for 2015

Shah Luxury Group has announced an array of new marketing and branding initiatives for 2015, including the appointment of a new vice president of sales and marketing, as well as an expanded online presence and an appearance at JCK Las Vegas 2015.

Brian Howard, the new vice president of sales and marketing for the company, will be leading marketing and sales initiatives alongside the Luxury Brand Group.

Sarine and Brinks Open Service Centers in Los Angeles and Hong Kong

Sarine has announced the opening of Sarine Loupe service centers in Los Angeles and Hong Kong, in collaboration Brink’s Global Services.
