IDD Brings Harout R to Independent Retailers

Elektra Designs’ Custom Necklace to Raise for One Fund Boston

Jewelry manufacturer Elektra Designs has designed a commemorative necklace to raise funds for The One Fund Boston in response to the 2013 Boston Marathon tragedy. The necklace, which includes a disc charm that can be engraved with a specific message to the Boston community along with a logo or event name, will be offered to running races and other organizations to sell to their participants and customers.

“We’ve done a lot of work with running events over the years, so it felt very appropriate to design a piece of jewelry that gives back to a cause we feel so strongly about,” COO Joni Lucas said in a press release.

In advance of the JCK Las Vegas show, California-based jewelry designer Vanna Kitsinian has released a rare sketch of one of her original jewelry designs. The design, a vintage-style seed pearl bracelet, will be on display in its finished form in Las Vegas from May 31 to June 3.

Adorned with South Sea pearls, diamonds, and handcrafted in 18k gold, Kitsinian describes the woven pieces as “intertwined harmony,” and is intended to offer a sense of serenity.
