Two SoCal Trade Groups to Integrate
The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California will be integrated into the Diamond Club West Coast (DCWC), according to an announcement by the DCWC.
The two organizations are coming together in an effort to strengthen the jewelry community through deepening collaboration and growth, the DCWC said in a statement, adding that members of both groups will benefit from expanded services, stronger industry connections, and global reach.
“The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California has a proud history of fostering ethics and leadership within the jewelry trade,” said DCWC president Kalpesh Jhaveri. “We are honored to carry forward its legacy and create even greater opportunities and impact for members by combining the strength, resources, and global connectivity of DCWC with the traditions of the 24K Club.”
An affiliate of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses, the DCWC is headquartered in downtown Los Angeles’ jewelry district and has more than 300 members, primarily wholesalers but also including diamond and gemstone dealers, jewelry manufacturers, secondhand jewelers, and others.
The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California, known for its annual dinner dance gala in L.A., offers membership to retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, designers, appraisers, educators, publishers, service providers, and leaders of nationally recognized trade organizations. The club’s mission is to promote ethical business practices and improve relationships across the jewelry industry.
