Jewelers Circle Announces Online Trading Platform

The Jewelers Circle has developed an international online trading platform, in an effort to grow the digital trade show model to support the current demands of the industry. Through it, approved vendors will have the ability to offer fine and antique jewelry, gemstones, timepieces, and other collectibles. “Trade shows have long been a vital source in sustaining our industry,” said Marianne Fisher, cofounder and managing director of the Jewelers Circle, in a statement. “As members of the jewelry trade ourselves, we understand the significance of these events to our business, and, more than ever, the need to find new ways of connecting. Our platform follows the model of the traditional trade show, and takes it to the next level by offering tools available year-round right at the user’s fingertips.”

The Jewelers Circle Platform will offer a four-day online trade show every four to five weeks, complete with exhibitor “booths” (which will always be open for business, regardless of whether events are happening or not). The platform also offers networking opportunities and the ability for visitors to request specific items, either by posting to the entire global network or targeting specific exhibitors. The International Antique Jewelers Association (IAJA) is sponsoring free access for the first three months of membership for all approved exhibitors until January 1, 2021. The IAJA is also sponsoring visitors’ and trade professionals’ free access through June 30, 2021. For more information, visit jewelerscircle.com.

Boss Logics and David Yurman Work “Together”

Software solutions company Boss Logics recently announced a new partnership with jeweler David Yurman. Using Boss Logics’ Together platform, David Yurman was able to hold its annual Fall Market Week entirely virtually, presenting retailers with its Spring 2021 collection via face-to-face virtual meetings and through video chat. Retailers viewed the jeweler’s offerings in a branded virtual showroom, via an experience that allowed them to simultaneously view products and stream media.

Boss Logics has a ten-year history of partnership with David Yurman, having created several digital solutions for the brand including its digital directory. For more information, visit davidyurman.com and bosslogics.com.
