Registration Opens for Next Spring’s Jewelry Symposium
Registration is now open for the 2025 Jewelry Symposium, which takes place May 17–20 in the Detroit area, and scholarships are available for jewelry students and early-career jewelers who wish to attend.
At the third edition of the Jewelry Symposium (TJS), an international roster of industry experts will give presentations on topics like technology, metallurgy, jewelry manufacturing process, gemstones, sustainability, safety, and recruitment and development of new talent.
Students, interns, apprentices, and those who recently began working in the jewelry business are eligible to apply for a scholarship to cover the registration fee, hotel accommodations, and certain other event-related expenses. The TJS scholarships are sponsored by Studio 2015.
“We welcome new participants for 2025, and the entire board is thrilled by both the quantity and quality of esteemed speakers who will be joining us,” said Linus Drogs, TJS board chairman, in a statement. “We are grateful to be able to offer scholarships again this year, and we are purposely starting the process much earlier to give awardees plenty of time to plan for their attendance.”
Guests can register for TJS 2025 here, and can secure group rates at the host hotel, the Detroit Marriott Troy, here. Applications and more information on the TJS scholarships can be found here.
