Picchiotti Debuts New Website…

Valenza, Italy–based jeweler Picchiotti has announced the debut of its newly designed, fully dynamic website. The site, which pays homage to the brand’s 54-year heritage, will be constantly updated and will soon feature an interactive chat function; a GPS-enabled, search engine–optimized, and mobile-friendly store locator; and options to contact a retailer or set an appointment.

“With our beautiful and resourceful new website, we hope to tell the meaningful story of our brand and its heritage and to convey it in a very modern, user-friendly, and tech-savvy way,” said founder Giuseppe Picchiotti in a statement. “Our new retailer portal will help make our story easier for partners around the world to share with their best customers, as well.”

Coming soon to the site is a business-to-business section for direct interaction with retail partners, a function that will be password-protected and serve as a portal for communication and inventory management and provide access to advertising and promotional materials, as well as social media posts.

The Plumb Club Welcomes Two New Members…

The Plumb Club recently announced the addition of two new members to its association: Cynergy Trading Corp. and Evolution Diamond. The two companies join the group’s 43 existing members, which represent over 100 brands in the industry.

Based in Los Angeles and New York, Cynergy Trading Corp. is the North American arm of the Mumbai, India–based Creations Jewellery. The company specializes in diamond bridal and fashion jewelry, servicing major and regional retailers as well as private label wholesale accounts.

“We are honored and proud to announce our acceptance into the Plumb Club,” said Adil Kotwal, president of Cynergy Trading Corp., in a statement. “We strongly believe in the ethics and transparency that the Plumb Club expects of its members, and we look forward to participating in the industry meetings and social events sponsored by the Club.”

Evolution Diamond is a lab-grown diamond company offering full jewelry manufacturing, design, and marketing capability to develop private label and branded collections. “We are excited to be part of the prestigious Plumb Club,” said Evolution Diamond president Amit Javeri in the same statement. “We look forward to a long and successful relationship that will help us grow and enhance our business with our customers.”

Midas Chain Expanding Headquarters…

New Jersey–based jewelry manufacturer Midas Chain has announced it will be expanding its headquarters, just two years after relocating its corporate base to northern New Jersey.

The expansion will double the company’s footprint as it expands to include two properties next to its current headquarters.

“The new building will allow us to expand upon the latest technology in automation systems, which befits the strategic vision of Midas Chain,” said vice president of operations Michael Weinberg in a statement. “In addition, we intend on leveraging the extensive talent pool in the tri-state area and enhancing our people strategy to reflect the growth of the company.”
