Horological Society of New York Celebrating 154 Years With Charity Auction

The Horological Society of New York (HSNY), America’s oldest watchmaking guild, is celebrating 154 years with its 2020 Gala & Charity Auction on April 1.

The event, held in honor of the last year’s horological accomplishments, will be held at the Manhattan Penthouse, a venue featuring 360-degree views of the New York City skyline.

Important components of the evening’s program include the announcement of HSNY’s Henry B. Fried Scholarship recipients. The scholarship assists full-time watchmaking students in the United States by helping to cover expenses for professional watchmaking tools and housing.

Following a cocktail hour and dinner, a charity auction presented by Christie’s will deal in exquisite watches, rare horological ephemera, and tailored experience packages.

Tickets to HSNY’s 2020 Gala & Charity auction begin at $200 per person and can be purchased by visiting this event page. Tables, each of which seat 10, are also available for limited purchase.
