Guzema’s Freedom Collection Benefits Ukraine

Ukrainian jewelry brand Guzema will donate 100% of sales of its newest collection, Freedom, to supporting the defense of Ukraine as the war enters its third year.

“February 24th marks two years since the horrific invasion of the Ukraine,” said Valeriya Guzema, founder and designer of Guzema, in a statement. “Since the beginning of the full-scale war that Russia has unleashed on our native land, we Ukrainians have been giving our souls every day to fight for freedom. For us, freedom has two colors—yellow and blue, the colors of our national flag. Please join us in our fight for survival as we defend our homeland. Wear and share a visual symbol of freedom for all Ukrainian people. Together we stand strong, in solidarity, and with unwavering hope for the future of Ukraine.”

The collection features 14k yellow gold pendants on blue and yellow silk cords as well as beaded rings dangling with charms engraved with Ukrainian words and symbols. Prices range from $140 to $700.

IDEX Upgrades Online Platform’s Functions

Idex Online announced upgrades designed to improve functionality and user experience by allowing customers to trade diamonds more efficiently.

The diamond trading platform has modernized its homepage and made updates for efficiency to its diamond search page, search results layout, and purchase flow for both natural and lab-grown diamonds.

In addition, Idex has introduced Idex Financing, which will provide credit for online diamond purchases and other general business needs, to assist customers growing their business.

“Both developments underscore Idex’s ongoing transformation into a technological powerhouse, harnessing its vast and unique database, along with proprietary technology, to drive long-awaited positive changes in the industry,” said Noam Taube, Idex Online CEO, in a statement. “Idex’s transformation is taking place while keeping our customers’ needs as our first priority, as is evident from these recent launches.”

Nivoda Now Offering Melee

Jewelry industry marketplace Nivoda has added melee to its gem selection. Nivoda introduced melee-size stones last August for select clients in the U.K. and now is offering them globally, in both natural and lab-grown form.

“In order to ensure a high standard of quality for its customers, Nivoda will launch with a limited number of reliable, top-quality suppliers for melee. Recognizing the variability in quality due to different grading criteria, the platform has employed Nivoda-defined quality standards to provide a reliable and consistent purchasing experience,” said a statement from the company, which also has redesigned its online platform with customized filtering capabilities.

Richline Partners With Boss Logics

Richline Group has signed a multiyear agreement with tech company Boss Logics for services that will support Richline as it introduces focused fine jewelry collections that leverage the conglomerate’s strength in key categories like gold and diamond jewelry.

“It has always been our desire to partner with better independent jewelers to create a world-class fine jewelry experience,” said Richline CEO Dave Meleski in a statement. “Boss Logics’ best-in-class technology will make it possible for us to better integrate with our retail partners to provide unrivaled value across a vast array of fine jewelry categories.”

Boss Logics will also be Richline’s exclusive data partner for independent jewelers globally. “This new partnership is the next step towards our mission to better align vendors and retailers through technology on behalf of the next generation of jewelry buyers,” said Boss CEO Zach Lipsky in a statement. “We could not dream of a better partner than Richline to support our ambitious vision to integrate emerging technology with fine jewelry.”

Both companies will be on hand to preview the new experience at the JCK show in Las Vegas this June.
