Vanna K Enters 7th Year With Jewelry Television

Jewelry brand Vanna K has announced it will enter its seventh year as a partner of Jewelry Television (JTV), a broadcast retailer of jewelry and loose gemstones.

A third-generation designer, Vanna Kitsinian was the first to create a fine jewelry collection for JTV’s exclusive Bella Luce line, featuring man-made gemstones in Platineve (JTV’s proprietary blend of platinum, rhodium, and other metals) as well as rose and yellow gold-plated silver. “I was a fan of the Bella Luce collection for many years before designing for JTV,” said Kitsinian. “So when I was presented with the opportunity to design for the Bella line, I thought bringing together the unique design and superb craftsmanship of Vanna K with the Bella Luce stone made for a wonderful marriage in jewelry.”

Kitsinian’s aesthetic from her Vanna K brand is similar to what shoppers will find in the Bella Luce collection for JTV, using vintage styles, hand-engraved patterns, and filigree. Viewers of JTV have also been offered price point renditions of some of Vanna K’s most popular diamond pieces, the designer comparing the two versions on air for all to see. Each of her Bella Luce pieces is stamped with a created sapphire as well as the Vanna K signature, in honor of Kitsinian’s mentor father (whose birthstone is sapphire).

As the designer behind the JCK Jewelers’ Choice Award–winning Vanna K, Kitsinian attributes her ease of public speaking—necessary for live television—to her formal training and background in law, while the brand’s design aesthetic is inspired by her travels. “I design what I would want to wear and that which makes me feel more confident, more energized, and beautiful,” said Kitsinian.

Kitsinian’s next visit to JTV will be the first week of September. To watch a recent segment, visit Vanna K for Bella Luce on Facebook and vannak.com.

Forty-two exhibitors from India participated in the pavilion hosted by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) at the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, which took place June 21—24.

Occupying 70,000 square meters of exhibition space, the India pavilion divided the exhibitors by specialty, including diamond jewelry, colored gemstones, and more, to help make sourcing easier for buyers.

“It has always been our effort to give our manufacturers the maximum opportunity to showcase their exquisite jewelry collections to markets in and around Hong Kong through this show,” said Pramod Agrawal, GJEPC chairman, in a press release. “The platform is an opportunity for exhibitors to enhance existing relationships with buyers and create new ones.”
