Locman Italy announced that a limited-edition watched it produced under the Alpemare brand in partnership with De Angelis and worn by Andrea Bocelli has sold at auction in a record-breaking sale. Featuring Bocelli’s engraved initials in the forged carbon, the watch—which fetched €15,000 (just over $17,700)—was auctioned in collaboration with luxury vintage watch boutique Maurizio de Angelis in Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany, and Swiss auction house Antiquorum on June 26. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Andrea Bocelli Foundation.

The watch is one of a limited 100 timepieces, the result of a partnership of the De Angelis company and Alpemare, a beach club owned by Bocelli, manufactured under the Locman Italy watchmaking brand.
