The Plumb Club’s “Radiant Universe” to Debut at JCK Las Vegas

The Plumb Club has announced that “Radiant Universe,” its comprehensive new research and retail initiative, will make its debut at JCK Las Vegas 2019.

The Plumb Club commissioned trend forecasting agency the Futurist to source consumer data with insight on trends, consumer behavior, and in-store and online sales information, finding, among other things, that constellations are a significant iconic motif among consumers. Thus “Radiant Universe,” a program comprising members of the Plumb Club that feature constellations, or symbols of the polar star and sun specifically, in their collections.

These brands will be on hand at JCK Las Vegas, positioned with the “Radiant Universe” trademark, and marketing materials for the program will be distributed at the Plumb Club Annual Breakfast Symposium and Pavilion at the show.

“We received feedback from retailers that there is a gap in our industry for aggregated, up-to-date consumer research that is valuable to them,” said Plumb Club executive director Lawrence Hess in a statement. “We are very excited to be able to not only provide such research, but to transform it into physical assets that will resonate in-store.”

The Plumb Club will install an actual planetarium within its brand-new pavilion at JCK Las Vegas, which will showcase a 5-minute presentation on the program, giving retailers insight into the constellation trend and spotlighting various designs from the collection. The show will run every 15 minutes throughout each day of the show. Tickets are required and can be obtained by visiting plumbclub.com/theplumbclubplanetarium.

The Plumb Club will also publish its additional findings through weekly articles here. Visit the pavilion at JCK Las Vegas, and learn more about its initiatives at the show.
