OroArezzo Celebrates 40 Years

Italian international jewelry exhibition OroArezzo has announced that it will be held from April 6-9, altering its date pattern to avoid any overlap with the religious holidays that occur in April. This year marks the show’s 40th anniversary.

To celebrate its milestone anniversary, OroArezzo has selected a ring to be its main theme for its yearly Premiere Competition, a cornerstone of the exhibition, that focuses on innovative Made in Italy jewelry. The contest requires participating companies to create a piece that showcases creativity, putting each brand’s own unique spin on an unconventional representation of the year’s chosen theme.

Entries to the contest will be on display for the duration of the show and will be judged by a select panel composed of experts in the jewelry, fashion, and media sectors and chaired by honorary president of the National Chamber of Fashion Buyers and art director of OroArezzo, Beppe Angiolini.

This year’s show will feature areas dedicated to cash and carry and technology, with a special program dedicated to technology made up of 30 companies, organized by the Italian Exhibition Group, the Italian Trade Agency, and the Italian Association of Jewellery Machinery Manufacturers and Exporters (AFEMO).
