Italian Trade Agency Introduces New Website Showcasing Jewelry

The Italian Trade Agency has debuted the website the Extraordinary Italian Jewelry, a virtual showcase of Italian jewelry design.

The website is geared toward U.S. shoppers and retailers, as the agency, a governmental entity that promotes Italy’s small- and medium-size businesses abroad, seeks to boost Italian jewelry entrepreneurship and market share in the United States. The U.S. represents the third largest market for Italian jewelry exports.

The site features data on Italian jewelry export to the U.S., a host of brands showcasing designs via 3-D images and videos, industry news, and more.

Anna Zuckerman Luxury Joins Continental Buying Group

Boca Raton, Fla., jeweler Anna Zuckerman Luxury has joined the invitation-only Continental Buying Group (CBG), an organization of jewelry suppliers that seeks to create stronger profit margins for its members through volume purchasing from select suppliers.

With a network of 100 vetted retailers, CBG gives Anna Zuckerman Luxury direct access to buyers, bulk purchasing, and catalog savings, with the potential for exclusivity agreements and regularly scheduled buying events.

“We are delighted to join the Continental Buying Group,” said Anna Zuckerman, the brand’s founder and designer, in a statement. “Becoming a member of CBG will make our jewelry more accessible to retailers who share our core belief that every woman deserves to sparkle.”

Anna Zuckerman Luxury offers jewelry made in rhodium-plated sterling silver with its trademarked Diamond Crystalline, a high-grade cubic zirconia coated with microns of carbon. Most of the brand’s designs sell for under $200 retail.

London Jewelers Unveils Newly Renovated Flagship

Manhasset, N.Y., retailer London Jewelers has completed renovation of its flagship location, in Long Island’s Americana Manhasset shopping center.

The updated store—which carries brands such as Bulgari, Chanel, Chopard, David Webb, Messika, Mikimoto, Pomellato, Roberto Coin, and more—features a textured glass facade and an elegant interior inspired by a Parisian apartment.

Along with a Diamond Salon, the store features a dedicated VIP room to ensure comfort and discretion for customers as they peruse the store’s offerings, which range from pieces by international jewelry brands to loose gemstones and diamonds. A dedicated Bulgari boutique allows for expanded offerings from the brand, and a Chanel Fine Jewelry area has been added as well.
