Super Bell makes appointments as it prepares for growth

Super Bell, a leading supplier to the jewelry industry, has named Michael McMullen as advisor to the president and principal shareholder Lo Huang. In his new role McMullen will advise and support Super Bell International in developing its international business, strategic relationships, and potential acquisitions.

The company previously named Tip Cornell as its chief operating officer, also reporting to Huang. He has been charged helping Super Bell in its next level of growth.

McMullen was president of international business for the Home Shopping Network, where he was responsible for building an international portfolio of indigenous TV shopping networks in nine languages over a seven-year period. His prior global experiences included stints with CNN, The Coca-Cola Company, where he was involved in the company’s pioneering activities in re-entering China, and Procter & Gamble over the last four decades

Cornell, was previously executive vice president sales at wholesale jeweler Stuller Inc., and with cosmetics company L’Oreal.

“Michael and Tip’s credentials and vast experience speak for themselves,” said Huang, who co-founder Super Bell with his wife Bonnie. “Michael will be invaluable to our company as we embark on the next development and growth phase of Super Bell from our current strong base. … Tip, likewise, brings to our company a stellar business background in U.S. sales and marketing.

McMullen and Cornell will work from Super Bell’s downtown Los Angeles headquarters and showroom; McMullen will also spend time at the Hong Kong offices of Super Bell International the company’s base of international sourcing and support operations.

Super Bell Jewelry Co., Inc. is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary in the U.S.
