Stuller Partners With Dominion Diamond Corp.

The companies will bring CanadaMark melee to the United States

Stuller and Dominion Diamond Corp. have partnered to bring CanadaMark melee diamonds to the U.S. market.

The unique program will track melee diamond batches from country of origin to polished stone.

“Stuller has always carried melee diamonds, but now through the CanadaMark melee program, we’ll be able to offer our customers natural melee that has been tracked from mine to market,” said Stanley Zale, Stuller’s vice president of diamonds and gemstones, in a statement.

Stuller founder and CEO Matt Stuller said that the program continues Stuller’s mission of bringing customers transparency in product origins.

“At Stuller, our goal has always been to provide our customers with complete product offerings in the most environmentally conscious way possible,” he added. “With remarkable gem-quality properties and now traceable origins, CanadaMark melee will help us in meeting that goal.”

Dominion Diamond Corp. executive vice president Jim Pounds said that company is excited about the partnership.

“Our market research shows that there is strong demand for natural and traceable diamonds from Canada,” he said in a statement. “This is especially true for the millennial consumer audience that values ethical sourcing. CanadaMark melee is an exciting addition to our existing program.”
